In July 2022, Everwin learned that V.Ships MV BUILDER was
scheduled for repairs at Dalian COSCO Shipyard in China.
Everwin's sales team contacted the ship management company in
Greek and offered to perform the bilge slop discharge operation
in the engine room before the ship went into dock, as it would
benefit the repair process.
At first, V.SHIPS
responded that they had a local partner firm to do the job but
later learned that the company could not perform the operation
since it didn't have the permits to work in the shipyard area.
Given the urgent nature of MV BUILDER's repair plan, the bilge
slop had to be treated before the vessel entered the dock. The
captain of the vessel thus contacted Everwin. Without delay, our
company connected with Mr. Stavros, the fleet superintendent of
V.SHIPs, and obtained an authorization letter on the day the
vessel entered the shipyard. We helped BUILDER handled various
declaration procedures, including customs and maritime affairs.
Once the vessel completed border formalities upon entering the
shipyard, Everwin's operation vessel YONGSHENG 77 and it crew
member swiftly completed the slop discharge operation of MV
BUILDER in just four hours.
This initial cooperation
with V.SHIPS allowed them to experience the high level of
service we provide, leading to Everwin being chosen as the
preferred service provider for V.SHIPS's fleet.
